What StatHawk gives you without paying

Scoring is free. So is the record it produces. You can score a game, open a previous game, look at a player's game log, and see season totals without a subscription. Starting your next game does not overwrite the last one. Reviewing your own completed games does not require Pro.

Reports are free too. Game, player, and team-season PDFs, a play-by-play CSV for a completed game, and Points Per Drive are all available without Pro. For high school programs, the MaxPreps path is free. For an eligible finalized game on your own team, StatHawk produces the file and you import it through MaxPreps yourself. There is no automatic sync, and the file does not set the final score or result.

For an eligible personal-team game, you can share a live link that anyone can open in a browser with no account and no download. It is a stats view, not video.

Scoring happens on iPhone or iPad, with Android coming soon. Rules settings are configurable and the scorer still confirms the decisions that matter, such as first downs, takeover spots, and penalty effects. StatHawk does not referee the game for you.

What FlagStat's own sources describe

FlagStat Go is listed on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, on Google Play for Android, and the FlagStat website presents a browser-based platform alongside it.

On free access, the clearest first-party statement is in the FlagStat Go release notes, which say FlagStat Free keeps one game at a time and that starting a new one replaces it. That limit is specific to FlagStat Go as described in those release notes. Separately, the website advertises the core platform as free for individual games, including play-by-play tracking and box scores, with FlagStat Premium adding cloud storage for game saves, expanded photo storage, and season management tools. So it is not the case that everything FlagStat produces requires payment. The distinction the published materials draw is between a single game and a saved season.

MaxPreps export is where the two sources do not line up. The FlagStat website lists MaxPreps export inside the free core platform. The FlagStat Go App Store description lists direct MaxPreps stat export as a Premium feature. The published descriptions conflict, so this comparison leaves the availability unresolved.

FlagStat is the official and exclusive flag football statistics platform of the NFHS under a three-year corporate partnership. That is a real and notable credential. It does not mean every school is required to use FlagStat, and StatHawk makes no claim of an NFHS partnership.
