StatHawk Is a MaxPreps Stat Import Partner

StatHawk is a MaxPreps stat import partner for flag football. For an eligible finalized high school game, StatHawk exports a MaxPreps-ready player-stat file. The coach saves or shares the file, then imports it through MaxPreps Team Admin. There is no sync, no API, no connection, and no automatic upload, and the file does not set the final score or game result in MaxPreps.

That removes the retyping. You score the game once in StatHawk, generate one file, and import it instead of entering every stat line by hand.

    What this means for coaches

Keeping flag football stats current on MaxPreps used to mean entering every game by hand. That work tends to fall off a few weeks into a season. The stats go stale, and players lose the record of what they actually did on the field.

Being a stat import partner removes the retyping. StatHawk already structures every play you score. The MaxPreps export turns that data into a player-stat file MaxPreps reads, with your program's Stat Supplier ID written in so the import is credited to your team. You still start and confirm the import yourself, and you still enter the final score in MaxPreps.

What a MaxPreps stat import partner is

MaxPreps lets approved apps export game stats in a format it accepts. Instead of typing each athlete's stat line into MaxPreps, a coach uploads a single file and the numbers populate. StatHawk is now one of those approved partners for flag football.

This matters because flag football stats on MaxPreps are entered manually for each game. There is no live sync for the sport. A partner file is the fastest route from a finished game to stats on your team page.

    How it works

You finish your game in StatHawk, tap Export to MaxPreps, save the file, then upload it from your MaxPreps Coach Admin account.

We wrote a full walkthrough here: How to Export Flag Football Stats to MaxPreps.

    The complete import sequence

    1. Finalize and verify the eligible high school game in StatHawk.
    2. Export the MaxPreps-ready player-stat file.
    3. Sign in to MaxPreps Team Admin.
    4. Open Schedule and the game's stat-entry flow.
    5. Enter or verify the final score or box score, then choose Save & Import Stats.
    6. Choose and import the StatHawk file.
    7. Select Calculate Team Totals, then Publish & Continue.

The StatHawk file contains supported individual player-stat fields. It does not set or update the final score or game result in MaxPreps.

Copying a MaxPreps roster into StatHawk

For an eligible school-based high school team, a coach can paste a public MaxPreps roster URL. StatHawk returns player names and jersey numbers for review, and the coach chooses which players to add. This is a one-time roster copy into StatHawk, not a sync, schedule import, or ongoing update.

This is separate from the player-stat export workflow described above.

    Who can use it

This is built for high school programs with a MaxPreps Coach Admin account. If you coach high school flag football, boys or girls, and your team is on MaxPreps, you can import StatHawk stats. Youth and rec coaches can still track games in StatHawk and use box scores, recaps, and shareable live links.
