7v7-Specific Notes
Seven-on-seven flag football is where the game gets closest to "real football" in terms of strategy. Offenses run coordinated route combinations. Defenses run Cover 2, Cover 3, and man-under-zone schemes. The stat sheet reflects this complexity by including categories that don't matter as much at the 5v5 level.
One notable rule difference in many 7v7 formats: the center may not be an eligible receiver. This changes offensive scheming and means you have effectively 6 receiving options instead of the full roster.
